Hummus Recipe

Add the following to the blender

  1. 2 cans of chick peas. After straining keep the liquid (aqua fava) for later
  2. ½ cup of tahini
  3. Juice from 2 fresh lemons
  4. 2 cloves of garlic. Peel and toss into blender
  5. ¼ cup of olive oil
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. Pinch salt
  8. ⅓ cup of aqua fava (more if desire thinner consistency)
  9. Blend until creamy
  10. You can serve with paprika sprinkled on top, or drizzled with olive oil.
