When working with children, it’s important to make sure that they are getting enough fat (since a plant-based diet tends to be low in fat).  The assistance of a dietician is a very good idea in this situation.  A dietician who specialises in plant-based diets is Nicole Osinga – her website is nicoleosinga.com, email nosinga@uoguelph.ca

Here is an excellent video by a Plant-based family doctor on how to make sure you are getting enough of multiple key nutrients.
